Job Requirements

- Experience in food service and customer service
- Cashiering experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle cash responsibly

Job Duties
- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Store foods in designated areas according to wrapping, dating and food safety procedures
- Clean work areas, equipment and utensils
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Relay relevant information to supervisor
- Perform sales transactions
- Enter sales into the cash register accurately
- Make change and accept declining balance cards and other payment forms
- Issue receipts to customers
- Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- Maintain cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards
- Replenish condiments, beverages and supplies while maintaining cleanliness
- Perform other duties as assigned
