As a Food Service Worker/Cashier at Morrison Healthcare, your daily responsibilities will include preparing food items such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, managing inventory through proper food storage and handling, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner. You will also perform cashier duties, including handling cash transactions, making change, accepting various forms of payment, and issuing receipts while ensuring compliance with cash handling policies. This position requires a focus on adhering to food safety and sanitation requirements, following approved recipes and portion control standards, and contributing to a positive customer service experience by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally. Job Requirements
- One year of previous customer service and barista experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time or part-time
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Barista experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash register and perform transactions accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and be trained

Job Duties
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
- Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Relays relevant information to supervisor
- Performs sales transactions
- Enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
- Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
- Issues receipts to customers
- Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
- Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
- Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness
- Performs other duties as assigned
