- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- previous institutional foodservice experience preferred
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- willingness to learn and comply with foodservice policies
- ability to work quickly and efficiently
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- availability to work additional food service days
- ability to establish effective relationships with school staff, students and the public
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- previous experience with institutional foodservice preferred
- ability to perform mathematical calculations for recipes, production sheets, and cashiering
- willingness to learn and follow federal, state, local, district and foodservice policies and regulations
- ability to work quickly and efficiently
- ability to be self-directed
- ability to work independently and with a team
- ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with school personnel, students and the public
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to schedules and nutritional guidelines
- follow federal, state, local, district and foodservice policies and regulations
- perform cashiering duties accurately
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of foodservice areas and equipment
- assist with inventory control and food preparation
- work independently and collaboratively with team members
- provide meals on additional food service days as needed
