We are currently seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to join our culinary team at St. Peter's Health Partners. This role involves working rotating shifts with every other weekend 6am-2pm, with the potential for additional hours. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about delivering high-quality food and exceptional service. The Food Service Worker supports our mission by preparing and serving meals that meet the dietary and personal preferences of our residents while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are rigorously followed. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work rotating shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience preferred but not required - training provided
  • High school diploma preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality service
  • Ability to read and write English on at a minimum 6th grade level
  • Adheres to SPHP's Code of Conduct

Job Duties

  • Assist with food preparation and meal service in accordance with dietary needs and standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of food service spaces
  • Deliver friendly, attentive, and respectful service to all residents
  • Support dishwashing, sanitation, and overall kitchen maintenance
  • Follow food safety procedures and health regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to create a pleasant dining experience
  • Opening the kitchen
  • turning on hot line and cold line area
  • Recording temperatures of ready-to-eat foods as well as other HACCP logs
  • Properly breaking down service line and keeping it clean and sanitized
  • Must maintain a clean and professional workspace and be willing to work independently
