Skills for Chicagoland's Future is a Chicago-based nonprofit that focuses on removing barriers to employment by eliminating biases that disqualify candidates unnecessarily. They collaborate with local and global companies to bring job opportunities to neighborhoods and municipalities in the Chicagoland area. To be eligible for their services, candidates must reside in Chicagoland (Cook, Lake, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, DuPage, or Will County in Illinois) and be unemployed or underemployed, defined as working fewer than 32 hours per week or outside their field.
