The position available is for a Food Service Worker who will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare facility by performing routine food preparation and service tasks. The role involves preparing meals, serving food trays to customers and patients, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Food Service Workers operate under established standards and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment, contributing significantly to patient satisfaction and the overall efficiency of the food service operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires continuous physical activity such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods. Employees must be able to work in varying environmental conditions ranging from cold freezer areas to outside weather, and adhere to safety protocols when handling sharp objects and working in confined spaces. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience or training in food service preferred along with proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
