This job opening is for a Food Service Worker position located at Pikes Peak - High Elevation, designed to be seasonal with an anticipated start date in early May and end date in late October. The Food Service Worker will report to the manager and assist with food and meal preparation while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. This role is compensated hourly at a rate of $17.74 and is perfect for individuals comfortable with both culinary responsibilities and food safety protocols. The position requires active collaboration with the manager to complete daily reports, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and ensure a smooth serving schedule based on department policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate would have the ability to prepare quality food items and baked goods, adhere strictly to food safety regulations, and manage essential kitchen duties such as cleaning, polishing, and proper storage of food items. Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing, thus requiring stamina and reliability. Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives, is a fundamental skill for this position. The Food Service Worker is expected to uphold the company uniform policy and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed, contributing to a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
