Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or healthcare food delivery preferred
- ability to communicate clearly in English
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- capability to lift and push heavy objects safely
- ability to understand and follow safety and sanitation regulations
- commitment to teamwork and positive attitude
- willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service including tray assembly and delivery
- ability to read and write in English and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- perform basic mathematical calculations without a calculator
- basic knowledge of dietary requirements and menus
- strong interpersonal skills to interact with co-workers medical staff patients and management
- adherence to dress code standards
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods perform repetitive movements and lift and push heavy carts safely
- willingness to attend and participate in departmental training classes
Job Duties
- Prepare and set up tray assembly stations with necessary supplies food items and condiments
- assist patients with menu selections and distribute meals according to prescribed diet orders
- maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards
- keep a clean and organized work environment
- collect and transport meal trays and food carts
- deliver snacks to patients
- support overall tray service operations and perform assigned cleaning and housekeeping duties
