Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass criminal background and suitability checks
- Registration with Selective Service if applicable
- Compliance with MCCS drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Skill to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in sequential tasks
- Skill to serve uniform individual portions and manage multiple customer requests
- Skill to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Working knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety guidelines
- Ability to communicate courteously and positively with customers
- Experience in customer service or food service preferred
- Knowledge of espresso and specialty coffee preparation beneficial
Job Duties
- Set up food service counters and side stands with hot and cold food and beverages including desserts and condiments
- Assist customers in selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales
- Prepare quality beverages such as espresso drinks and coffee consistent with established recipes and presentation standards
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote associated products
- Serve food and beverages in standard portions
- Clean dishwashers and associated equipment maintaining cleanliness and appeal of customer service area
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as per established schedules
- Follow store policies and procedures for operation flow
- Operate cash register and manage own change fund
- Provide world class customer service emphasizing courtesy and positive communication
- Adhere to safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Report workplace hazards and incidents to supervisor
- Support principles of equal employment opportunity and harassment prevention
- Perform other related duties as required
