Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to high school diploma or GED
- some experience or training related to food service preferred
- ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- good sanitation and hygiene practices
- ability to handle money transactions
- reliable and punctual
- background checks and reference checks will be conducted
Job Qualifications
- An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job
- preferred qualifications may be added by the agency
Job Duties
- Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
- cleans, peels, slices and trims foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
- conducts or assists with food supply requisitions and sanitation and maintenance inspections
- receives payment for food items
- replenishes supplies of food, condiments, and equipment at steam tables and service bars
- stores food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
- unpacks and stores supplies, raw and prepared food products
