This job opportunity is for a position based in a local school kitchen or cafeteria where the successful candidate will play an essential role in daily food service operations. This role is designed to fit a standard daytime schedule working Monday through Friday, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays required, offering a balanced work-life routine. The position includes benefits such as paid time off (PTO) and a 401(k) plan. Employees will be involved in cooking and preparing food, portioning and serving meals, and maintaining sanitation standards that comply with USDA and state regulations. The candidate will also ensure health and safety compliance in line with HAACP and health department regulations. Additionally, this role entails assisting with monitoring costs and controlling inventory, which contributes to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.
