Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
basic food production and food service knowledge
ability to use various food service supplies and equipment
knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and equipment usage
ability to read, write, and speak English
ability to follow written and oral instructions
mathematical ability for measurements and recipe adjustments
ability to multitask and meet deadlines
strong customer service skills
commitment to maintaining patient PHI privacy
availability for limited term (26 weeks)

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
basic knowledge of food production and food service
ability to use food service supplies and equipment
knowledge of maintaining a safe food environment
strong customer service skills
ability to read, write, and speak English
sufficient mathematical skills for measurement and portioning
ability to meet deadlines and multitask
understanding of privacy and confidentiality in healthcare

Job Duties

Perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
clean and store dishes, utensils, and pots
maintain general department sanitation
follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve snacks and meals
assist multiple areas like tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering
adhere to local, state, and federal regulations on safety and patient privacy
communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
