Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education diploma (ged)
- basic food production and food service knowledge
- knowledge of safe food environment practices including proper cleaning procedures
- ability to read, write and speak English
- sufficient mathematical ability for basic measurement and portioning
- ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a frequent interruption atmosphere
- strong customer service skills
- ensure privacy of patient health information

Job Duties
- perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
- clean and store dishes, utensils, pots
- perform general department sanitation
- follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve snacks and meals
- assist in various areas including tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering
- ensure privacy of patient health information
- adhere to local, state, and federal food safety regulations
