high school diploma or equivalent
basic food production and food service knowledge
knowledge of safe food handling and cleaning procedures
ability to communicate in English
basic math skills for measurement
ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
strong customer service orientation
commitment to maintain patient privacy and safety

Job Duties

perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
clean and store dishes, utensils, pots
perform general department sanitation
follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve meals
support tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, and catering
communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
adhere to local, state, and federal safety regulations and patient privacy policies
