Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Experience preferred in hospital dietary or food service
Experience working in AAFES or large production dining
Experience in nursing home food service
Fast food or restaurant experience with leadership role
Clean Motor Vehicle Report with less than 6 points

Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) with less than 6 points

Job Duties

Prepare, heat and finish cooking food items under supervision
Serve customers in the hospital cafeteria
Receive and disburse money for food service transactions
Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
Unpack and store supplies, raw and prepared food products properly
Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
Replenish supplies of food, condiments, and equipment at steam tables and service bars
Conduct or assist with food supply requisitions and sanitation and maintenance inspections
Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
