We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Food Service Worker to join our team at Global Concepts Charter School. This part-time role offers a rate of pay of $16.50 per hour and work hours from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, conveniently aligned with school schedules to promote work-life balance. The Food Service Worker position is ideal for individuals looking for meaningful employment that supports family time in the evenings. The role involves a variety of important responsibilities including meal preparation, customer service, operational support in the kitchen, food supply management, and dishwashing duties. As a Food Service Worker, you will work closely with team members to prepare and serve meals following established recipes and portion controls, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly met. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within all food preparation and serving areas. Delivering a positive customer experience is a key part of the role, requiring you to professionally greet students, staff, and visitors while handling inquiries about menu items, prices, and payment options. Supporting inventory management by receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies is also an essential function, as is cooperating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service. Maintaining the food service line, including setup and replenishment of plates, utensils, food, and beverages, falls under the duties as well. Dishwashing tasks are performed as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
