Job Requirements

Must meet all position requirements by the closing date of announcement
Experience or training sufficient to perform essential job duties
Ability to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and ability for food service tasks
Physical capacity to perform work involving lifting, standing, and other physical activities
Willingness to work in hot, noisy, and sometimes humid kitchen environments
Ability to work full-time at 40 hours per week

Job Qualifications

Ability to perform light to moderate physical work including lifting and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
Experience in food preparation or service is preferred but not required
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision
Good dexterity and ability to handle kitchen tools and equipment safely

Job Duties

Prepare food items according to specified dietary guidelines and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and service areas
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and tools safely
Follow instructions and specifications related to food service operations
Load, unload, and store food supplies and equipment
Assist in delivering food items to designated areas within the medical center
Adhere to all health and safety regulations during food preparation and service
