Its extensive presence includes US bases in locations such as Germany, Italy, England, Turkey, South Korea, and Japan, along with stores supporting US troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other regions. The Food Service Worker role at the Exchange is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to interact with customers daily, providing a welcoming and positive experience that encourages repeat visits. The role demands a balance of speed, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Food Service Workers serve a variety of items such as salads, meats, vegetables, pizzas, sandwiches, desserts, ice cream, and beverages at counters or steam tables. They prepare simple salads, coffee, and tea while ensuring food stations are replenished regularly.
Employees may be asked to prepare and wrap sandwiches, wash, pare, and cut fruits and vegetables, and create fountain items like milkshakes or sundaes.
