Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Ability to work without more than normal supervision
- Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order
- Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques
- Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of basic sanitation principles
- Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals to take orders, provide change, and determine portions
- Resumes must be two pages or less demonstrating relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities
Job Duties
- Serve as a food service provider helping in preparation, presentation and serving or delivery of light food items offered for sale to patrons
- Work behind the counter setting up and replenishing food, hot/cold drink and specialty items along with condiments for a food service/snack bar operation
- Serve light food items requiring little or no preparation time to patrons from a service cart at a beach side resort property location
- Perform expeditor duties including delivering food to customers or bringing food to service buffet areas
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned area
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in maintaining kitchen tools and equipment
