The Food Service Worker position at Masonicare at Bishop Wicke is an essential evening shift role that supports the kitchen team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Scheduled for 9 hours per week during the evening shift, this role reports directly to the Chef Supervisor and Production Chefs. As a Food Service Worker, the individual plays a crucial part in ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly by washing dishes, cleaning equipment and floors, and adhering to all sanitation procedures. Job Duties
- Assist in the general sanitation of the kitchen
- Set up dishmachine for meal service and wash dishes
- Sort silverware and clean glasses
- Maintain cleanliness of pots and pans using proper chemicals and procedures
- Clean all kitchen equipment as requested
- Organize and clean storerooms and coolers
- Remove all garbage from kitchen and dispose in dumpster
- Assist manager and cooks in special cleaning projects
- Follow dress code wearing uniforms and hairnets
- Receive deliveries and properly rotate and organize storerooms and coolers
- Attend all scheduled in-services
