Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to operate cash registers and electronic payment systems
  • Basic food preparation and cooking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must adhere to health, safety, and food handling standards
  • Ability to lift and move items up to one’s own height

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or related role is advantageous
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including covering other shifts
  • Knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Operate cash register and process payments efficiently
  • Follow cash handling policies and procedures
  • Prepare and cook food items as needed
  • Clean and chop/slice foods for salads, sandwiches, and side dishes
  • Set up and break down serving stations
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables and chairs and restock utensils and condiments
  • Wash equipment and service ware and maintain kitchen and dining sanitation
  • Receive, unpack, rotate, and store deliveries properly
  • Adhere to food safety and workplace safety protocols
  • Provide front-of-house assistance during slow periods and cover other shifts as needed
