Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Ability to operate cash registers and electronic payment systems
- Basic food preparation and cooking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must adhere to health, safety, and food handling standards
- Ability to lift and move items up to one’s own height
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or related role is advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including covering other shifts
- Knowledge of food safety standards
Job Duties
- Operate cash register and process payments efficiently
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures
- Prepare and cook food items as needed
- Clean and chop/slice foods for salads, sandwiches, and side dishes
- Set up and break down serving stations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and chairs and restock utensils and condiments
- Wash equipment and service ware and maintain kitchen and dining sanitation
- Receive, unpack, rotate, and store deliveries properly
- Adhere to food safety and workplace safety protocols
- Provide front-of-house assistance during slow periods and cover other shifts as needed
