This position is integral to maintaining the quality and comfort of patients within Baptist Health. The role focuses on preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals while adhering to rigorous standards for quality, service, infection control, and food safety. Responsibilities also include delivering stock supplies to patient floor kitchens, serving guests with a positive customer relations attitude, replenishing foods and supplies, sanitation duties, dish room tasks, processing payments for guest trays, and cash handling in the cafeteria. Additional duties involve setting up and serving meals for corporate retail, catering services, and other dining outlets, along with decorating buffet and reception tables as needed.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, GED, or experience
- Food Safety certification required within 90 days of job entry
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Less than 1 year of experience

Job Duties
- Prepare, assemble and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
- Deliver stock supplies to the patient floor kitchens
- Serve guests, maintaining positive customer/guest relations
- Appropriately replenish used foods and supplies
- Complete sanitation duties
- Perform dish room duties as assigned daily
- Collect payments for guest trays
- Handle transactions for food sales in the cafeteria as a cashier in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
- Decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
