Rooted in service and united by a clear purpose, Aramark aims to make a positive impact for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company is dedicated to fostering an inclusive work environment that promotes equal employment opportunities and values diversity without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.

This Food Service Worker position is based within the Cedarburg School District in Cedarburg, WI, and offers both full-time and part-time employment options with a starting compensation of $15 per hour. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, making it an excellent opportunity for working parents or individuals seeking flexible daytime hours. The role excludes nights and weekends and provides summers and holidays off, supporting work-life balance and personal commitments.

The Food Service Worker will play an essential role in assisting the manager and kitchen team in maintaining high standards of food quality, preparation, sanitation, and safety. Responsibilities include preparing meals and baked goods per planned menus, managing cash receipts and meal records, and helping complete daily reports to verify transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping. Additionally, the position involves food storage management, serving food according to schedules and policies, and ensuring kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained.

The role also demands adherence to strict food safety regulations, including sanitation and proper handling/storage of ingredients, to ensure a safe environment for staff and service recipients. Daily collaboration with the manager is required for understanding menu details and food temperature supervision to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with health standards.

Beyond cooking duties, the Food Service Worker contributes to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen through tasks such as sanitizing counters, steam tables, and other kitchen equipment, as well as general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, warewashing, and managing garbage collection sites.

Physical aspects of the job may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. The role also necessitates wearing uniforms and possibly personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety and hygiene compliance.

This position provides a meaningful career path for individuals who are eager to develop new skills, contribute to a dynamic team environment, and positively impact their community. Aramark encourages continuous growth and adaptation, with the understanding that job duties may evolve to meet organizational needs and commitments.
