Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) is a vital program office within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) that has been proudly serving America’s Veterans since 1946. This opportunity at VCS is for part-time Food Service Workers located at the Anchorage, AK, VA Medical Center. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of beverages including coffee latte cappuccino and smoothies
- Prepares and assembles an assortment of food items including breakfast sandwiches lunch sandwiches wraps pancakes burritos and more
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of workplace equipment utensils in compliance with health and safety standards
- Properly stores food to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage
- Prepares food according to customers orders or supervisors instructions following approved procedures
- Will be exposed to varying temperatures including hot and cold
- Performs other duties as assigned
