Job Requirements
- Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision
- ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. other than blueprint reading
- ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
- dexterity and safety
- knowledge of materials
- technical practices including theoretical, precise, artistic
- work practices
- ability to lift and carry items weighing 16-44 lbs
- capability to stand and walk for prolonged periods mainly on concrete floors
- willingness to work rotating shifts on a 2 shifts per day, 7 days a week schedule
- ability to work in noisy kitchen and dining room areas
- ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, grease, water, and temperature extremes
- willingness to wear safety shoes and other protective items as required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare simple foods
- serve prepared foods and beverages
- clean food service trays, pans, dishes, and work areas
- set up condiments, silverware, and glassware
- maintain garbage collection areas
- push loaded tray carts on elevators and wards
- deliver patient trays to patient bed stands
