The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department under the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for military members, their families, retirees, and civilian employees. CNIC operates a range of initiatives focused on fitness, recreation, lodging, and food and beverage services, all aimed at supporting the wellbeing and morale of those connected to the Navy community. As a vital segment of CNIC, MWR programs provide a comprehensive suite of activities and amenities designed to foster a positive environment conducive to rest, relaxation, personal growth, and community engagement. These programs are essential in maintaining the strength and readiness of service members by promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
The current opportunity is located at Naval Station Everett, a key installation offering extensive food and beverage services to support daily operations and special events for service members and their families. The Food & Beverage division is instrumental in delivering high-quality dining experiences that meet the diverse tastes and nutritional needs of its patrons. This role focuses on ensuring efficient food service operations within the military context, emphasizing customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
This position offers individuals a chance to contribute directly to the welfare of military personnel by managing or supporting food and beverage services that uphold the high standards expected in military installations. Employees in this role need to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including fellow service members and civilian staff, to create seamless service experiences. The bi-weekly review of applicants underscores the ongoing commitment to selecting candidates who are dedicated, service-oriented, and capable of thriving in a dynamic and disciplined environment. This employment is critical in facilitating the seamless operation of MWR programs at NS Everett, ensuring that food and beverage offerings reinforce the community-focused mission of CNIC.
