Job Duties
- Conduct all interactions in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with food preparation as assigned and based on menus and forecasting
- Perform repetitive tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Support the process of receiving and storing all food and beverage supplies, paper supplies, and cleaning supplies
- Understand and identify reimbursable meals properly for purpose of meal claiming
- Present all foods in an appetizing and appealing manner
- Stock items including condiments, paper supplies and a la carte when necessary
- Support compliant completion of daily production records
- Assist with cleaning of kitchen and dining areas including carts, serving lines, all equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, and trash disposal
- Set up dish machine and/or three compartment sink according to food safety protocols to wash, rinse, sanitize, and put away clean items before, during and after all meal services
- Perform all cleaning tasks per site cleaning schedule
- Report any equipment issues to Food Service Site Leader
- Follow all guidelines including cell phone usage, uniform requirements, and food safety
- Attend scheduled unit meetings, and professional development trainings to meet USDA compliance requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Site Leader, and/or Food Service Coordinator
