The role available is for a Food Service Worker at the Iroquois Nursing Home location, working part-time with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts on varying days including rotating weekends. Sodexo offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour for this position. The Food Service Worker position is ideal for individuals who are team-oriented, adaptable, and reliable, with no prior work experience necessary. In this role, the worker will be instrumental in preparing and serving diverse food menus while maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards in food service areas. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and rotating weekends
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Must comply with health and safety regulations
  • No prior experience required

Job Duties

  • Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables
  • Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils and provide general stocking duties in service area
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Provide friendly and welcoming customer service to residents and staff
