Job Requirements
- Food handlers certificate required
- Kitchen experience required especially institutional food services
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up two flights of stairs
- Ability to work in a noisy kitchen environment
- Ability to interact with clients with mental illness and substance abuse issues

Job Duties
- Set up steam table coffee and drink station prior to each meal
- Prepare salad fruit and coffee according to quality standards
- Serve all meals in a timely fashion
- Store label and date leftovers properly
- Clean and sanitize steam table counters dishes and serving areas
- Clean dining room as needed and promptly remove all trash
- Prepare for following day meal in a timely fashion
- Assist with reception and storage of food and non food items
- Complete and document all daily cleaning tasks
- Perform all other duties as assigned
