Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- basic knowledge of food production and food service
- ability to use food service equipment and supplies
- understanding of safe food handling and cleaning
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- basic math skills for measurement and portioning
- strong customer service skills
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- willingness to work varied shifts including weekends
- ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Job Qualifications

- ability to use various food service supplies and equipment
- knowledge of safe food environment and cleaning procedures

Job Duties
- Perform general kitchen duties including food preparation and storage
- clean and store dishes, utensils, pots
- perform general department sanitation
- follow department policies and recipes to prepare and serve snacks and meals to patients and visitors
- assist tray line, cafeteria, dish room, host/hostess, or catering
- communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
- adhere to local, state, and federal regulations for privacy and safety
- support the functionality of the food service department
