The Food Service Worker position at SodexoMagic, based in the Delta Sky Club at Tampa International Airport (TPA), is a full-time role with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. This role is essential in enhancing the guest experience by delivering excellent hospitality and food service support in a fast-paced aviation lounge environment. As a Food Service Worker, you will be a warm-welcoming ambassador, focused on improving the quality of life for those served by providing timely and attentive service. Your responsibilities involve assisting servers with table settings, serving guests when needed, clearing and cleaning tables, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining area. The role demands flexibility in availability, as shifts vary, and open availability is preferred. You will actively participate in keeping the space organized and ensuring guest satisfaction with professional and responsive customer service.

In this role, teamwork and adaptability are crucial. You will work closely with servers and other dining staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests. Job Requirements

  • Successful completion of high school or equivalent
  • Open availability with flexibility to work varying shifts

  • Basic food safety knowledge or willingness to learn
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage but not required

Job Duties

  • Assist servers in the dining room including setting tables with clean napkins, China and glassware, pouring water for guests and clearing/cleaning tables, and serving when needed
  • Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests
  • Remove dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware from tables and counter tops, and transport items to designated area
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
