  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods
  • ability to follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards
  • strong time management and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role preferred

Job Duties

  • perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • weigh and measure designated ingredients
  • carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
  • store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
  • clean work areas, equipment and utensils
  • cook food items according to recipes and food production standards
  • ensure food is safely prepared and at the proper temperature for consumption
