Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods
ability to follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards
strong time management and multitasking abilities
good communication skills
teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role preferred
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
ability to safely operate cooking appliances and utensils
strong attention to detail and organizational skills
good communication and customer service skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
weigh and measure designated ingredients
carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures
clean work areas, equipment and utensils
cook food items according to recipes and food production standards
ensure food is safely prepared and at the proper temperature for consumption
