The role of a Food Service Worker at SodexoMagic, particularly at the Delta Sky Club located at Tampa International Airport (TPA), is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage of $16.50. This role is essential in elevating the customer experience by providing warm, professional, and attentive service to guests. Candidates are expected to have open availability with varying shifts, making it a flexible yet dynamic work environment. The Food Service Worker acts as both a welcoming ambassador and a key member of the dining service team, ensuring that the dining area is clean, well-maintained, and hospitable.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting servers in tasks such as setting tables with clean napkins, china, and glassware, pouring water for guests, clearing and cleaning tables efficiently, and stepping in to serve when required. Your presence and dedication enhance the overall dining experience by ensuring that each guest feels valued and served promptly. The position requires a team-oriented mindset, reliability, and adaptability, as well as a genuine interest in maintaining a safe and positive work environment. Food Service Workers also play a crucial part in transporting used dishes, linens, and glassware to designated areas, maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the service area.

Job Requirements

- prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred

Job Duties
- assist servers in the dining room including setting tables with clean napkins, china and glassware, pouring water for guests and clearing/cleaning tables, and serving when needed
- provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests
- remove dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware from table and counter tops, and transport items to designated area
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
