The Food Service Worker - Dishwasher position is a vital role within the Food & Nutrition team at Regions Hospital. This part-time role involves performing routine food service tasks in various areas such as the kitchen, cafeteria, catering, dining room, dish room, and patient settings with a focus on quality and efficiency. The employee will utilize a Best Care Best Experience approach to ensure patient satisfaction while maintaining strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing and assembling food tray orders, sanitizing dishes and utensils, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas. The role requires a positive, cheerful attitude and a strong work ethic, as well as a commitment to helping others and contributing positively to the hospital environment. The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.90. Candidates who have customer service and food service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
