Job Duties
- perform routine food service tasks in kitchen cafeteria and dish room
- assist the shift supervisor in ensuring all sanitation tasks are completed daily
- set up and break down patient tray line for each meal
- stock and dismantle condiment and cereal area replenish paper and china
- work in dish room stripping and scrapping
- take temperature of dish machine during all meals
- check silverware for cleanliness sort after dishwasher run and rerun
- clean and sanitize carts and store for lunch and dinner
- carry out trash and mop floor
- clean dish machine and polish daily
- wash pots and pans changing water often
- follow department safety and sanitation procedures
- log dish machine temperature at each meal
- assist delivering late trays as needed
- comply with all rules in employee handbook
- perform any task asked by supervisor
