This position assists the manager with meal preparation, upholds stringent quality, sanitation, and safety practices in food handling, and maintains accurate records of cash receipts and meals. With an emphasis on efficiency and customer satisfaction, the Food Service Worker prepares quality food and baked goods according to planned menus, ensures the correct storage of food items in a sanitary manner, and serves food timely and in compliance with departmental policies. The role also involves the care and use of kitchen equipment, particularly knives, to safely and effectively prepare a variety of food and beverage items. Additionally, the worker coordinates kitchen cleanliness, manages temperature requirements, and adheres to uniform policies.
