The company emphasizes growth, development, and positive impact in every role, making it an ideal employer for those looking to advance their careers in food service management.
CSG is currently seeking full-time and part-time Food Service Workers to join their team at Northcoast Behavioral Health located at 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, OH 44067. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour. As a Food Service Worker, incumbents will be essential in preparing, presenting, and serving food to meet the needs of customers in a healthcare environment. The position requires previous food service experience of at least one year, preferably in a healthcare-based setting, which highlights the importance of safety, hygiene, and nutrition in food handling and service.
This position offers an engaging schedule including weekdays with rotating holidays and every other weekend, providing flexibility suited to both full-time and part-time candidates. Uniform tops are provided as a perk, reinforcing a professional appearance and team identity. Food Service Workers play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of meals served by performing key prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables, measuring ingredients accurately, and transporting food safely throughout the kitchen. Workers are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness by sanitizing work areas and utensils, adhering strictly to food safety protocols including appropriate food storage practices, wrapping, dating, and rotation of food items to prevent spoilage and contamination.
Delivering excellent customer service is paramount, as Food Service Workers interact with customers in a courteous and efficient manner while following designated steps of service. They are expected to resolve concerns effectively and communicate them promptly to supervisors. Accountability is emphasized through adherence to company service standards, proper inventory management, and cash control procedures where applicable. Beyond these day-to-day duties, CSG encourages team members to contribute to ongoing safety and sanitation compliance to maintain high standards. The role also involves occasional additional tasks as assigned, ensuring dynamic involvement and opportunities for skill development.
CSG offers competitive benefits tailored to both full-time and part-time team members, including retirement plans, health and wellness programs, and discounts through associate shopping programs. Full-time employees receive added advantages such as medical, dental, vision coverage, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending accounts, among other voluntary benefit options like critical illness and accident insurance. The company values diversity and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities to all applicants without regard to race, gender, age, or other protected classifications. Eligible employees may also access paid and unpaid time off, consistent with federal, state, and local regulations, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Candidates will find the Food Service Worker position at CSG both rewarding and professionally enriching, offering a chance to work in a supportive environment while positively impacting the lives of those served at healthcare facilities. This position is available with ongoing applications until all vacancies are filled, reflecting CSG’s commitment to continuously building a strong and dedicated team for their culinary services division.
