The Food Service Supervisor (Shift Supervisor) role at Trinity Services Group is a critical supervisory position responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food within the correctional facility kitchen. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Prior institutional food service or restaurant, cafeteria experience is a plus
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts and adapt to changing schedules

Job Duties

  • Supervise inmate labor and/or team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts
  • Prepare, assist or instruct inmate labor and/or team members in the preparation of a variety of food items in accordance with departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and work instructions
  • Follow assigned facility housekeeping and safety practices in all preparation, oversight, and serving of correctional facility meals
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Train and mentor new team members and inmate labor
  • Perform other duties as determined by the needs of the business
