We are currently seeking full-time Food Service Workers to join our dedicated campus team. This position is based at 878 Houston Street, College Station, TX 77843. As a Food Service Worker, you will be an integral part of our food service operations, ensuring the preparation, presentation, and serving of food meets our standards of quality and safety. These positions require no prior experience, allowing individuals eager to start or continue a career in food service to apply immediately. The hourly wage ranges from $14.00 to $16.00, reflecting competitive pay for this role within the food service industry. The work schedule is full-time; however, days and hours may vary and will be discussed further during the interview process.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • good communication skills
  • previous experience in food service is a plus but not required
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Prepares and serves food as needed
  • performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • weighs and measures designated ingredients
  • carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
  • stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures
  • cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
  • utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
  • serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service
  • resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor
  • ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
  • performs other duties as assigned
