Job Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- must have a Real ID to get on Joint Base Langley-Eustis
- ability to work 3rd shift hours from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
- physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- availability to perform tasks involving manual labor
Job Qualifications
- One year work experience in food service or related field desirable
- knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation
- ability to operate standard kitchen equipment
- ability to follow instructions and work well with others
- physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Set up cafeteria lines, steam-tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter, and beverages
- unload and store food from delivery trucks
- assist cooks in preparation and perform duties as server when necessary to support customers
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- follow established safety and hygiene protocols
- assist in inventory management and report supply needs
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
