Job Requirements
- Food service experience or equivalent education in restaurant, catering or retail operation
- ability to provide courteous and tactful customer service
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to bend, squat, stand and walk for extended periods
- flexible working hours and locations
- current food handler's certificate or card
Job Qualifications
- Food service experience in a food or hospitality operation or institutional food service
- equivalent education or experience in restaurant, catering, retail operation, sanitation, or dishwashing
- customer service experience
- ability to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal and stressful conditions
- basic computer familiarity preferred
- tray-line or room service experience is a plus
- current food handler's certificate or card for applicable county or state
Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble patient food trays and carts according to department standards
- perform routine cleaning and stocking of pantries and kitchen areas
- follow established recipes and safety protocols including labeling and dating food items
- provide excellent customer service in cafeteria and special events with friendly, professional interaction
- prepare grilled foods and serve meals according to order specifications
- collaborate effectively with team members to deliver quality meal service on time
- handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
- perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- flexible with working hours and locations based on business needs
