Job Requirements

Food service experience or equivalent education in restaurant, catering or retail operation
ability to provide courteous and tactful customer service
ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
physical ability to bend, squat, stand and walk for extended periods
flexible working hours and locations
current food handler's certificate or card

Job Qualifications

Food service experience in a food or hospitality operation or institutional food service
equivalent education or experience in restaurant, catering, retail operation, sanitation, or dishwashing
customer service experience
ability to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal and stressful conditions
basic computer familiarity preferred
tray-line or room service experience is a plus
current food handler's certificate or card for applicable county or state

Job Duties

Prepare and assemble patient food trays and carts according to department standards
perform routine cleaning and stocking of pantries and kitchen areas
follow established recipes and safety protocols including labeling and dating food items
provide excellent customer service in cafeteria and special events with friendly, professional interaction
prepare grilled foods and serve meals according to order specifications
collaborate effectively with team members to deliver quality meal service on time
handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, standing, and walking for extended periods
flexible with working hours and locations based on business needs
