Job Requirements

Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Must have a valid picture ID to get on Joint Base Langley/Eustis
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to pull, push, and lift equipment while utilizing proper lifting procedures and practices

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year work experience in food service desirable
Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and sanitation
Ability to follow instructions and work well with people
Familiarity with operation of standard kitchen equipment

Job Duties

Set up cafeteria lines, steam-tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter, and beverages
Unload and store food from delivery trucks
Assist cooks in preparation
Perform duties as server when necessary to support customers
Follow sanitation and safety procedures
Operate standard kitchen equipment
Use proper lifting procedures to move equipment and supplies
