Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of food service experience preferred
  • Allergen Awareness Certification within 180 days
  • Food Handlers Card or Food Protection Manager certification within 30 days
  • Ability to operate cash register hardware and software
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Provide consistent, high-quality meal service to all retail customers
  • Set up, replenish, and break down service lines and stations following established policies
  • Assist team members in completing tasks and serving customers
  • Maintain communication with kitchen team to avoid food service delays
  • Operate POS cash register and follow cash handling procedures
  • Demonstrate positive interaction with team members for seamless service
  • Prepare food items including slicing, chopping, salad and sandwich preparation, short order cooking, and beverage making
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of food prep, service, and customer areas
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper labeling and dating of food products and report discrepancies to management
