  • accounts for leftovers and completes cook worksheets
  • stocks and organizes work areas
  • cleans and maintains equipment and supplies
  • ensures proper sanitation and storage of unused food
  • minimizes waste
  • markets and publicizes special meals
  • supports catering activities by preparing food, beverages, equipment, and supplies
  • sets up and cleans equipment for catering
  • performs dish room cleaning duties including washing and sanitizing kitchenware
  • operates dish machines and tray returns
  • disposes of waste according to safety and sanitation procedures
  • sets up and replenishes condiments and serving items
  • cleans spills in server areas
  • serves food and breaks down cafeteria serving line
  • performs other duties as assigned
