Job Requirements
- must follow set procedures in accomplishing repetitive assignments and follow established sequence of work
- demonstrated history of related food service experience preferably with a major institution or the military is desired
- servsafe certification preferred may be required if hired
- lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- work in a standing position in the dining facility and kitchen area for 6 to 7 hours excluding break and lunch periods
- some bending and stooping

Job Duties
- perform a variety of tasks having several steps or a sequence of tasks that require attention to work operations in a kitchen and the dining area following established procedures
- set up and replenish cafeteria lines steamtables dining room tables and side service stands with hot and cold food items including meat vegetables salads desserts bread butter and beverages
- assemble or toss fresh fruit and green salads in quantity using prepared dressings and portions into standard serving sizes
- make cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients
- clean all tabletops and ensure that all counters and windowsills are free from dust
- may assist in ensuring that all dining facility floors are swept and mopped daily
- ensure that all napkin dispensers salt and pepper shakers and condiments dispensers are full before and after each meal
- remove all dishes from the collection station and wash according to HACCP standards
- wash all dishes pots and pans and utensils in accordance with the HACCP standards
- clean other kitchen equipment daily or as needed
