The Food Service Worker position at Harborview’s Food and Nutrition department is a pivotal role that directly supports the center’s mission of delivering extraordinary experiences through compassionate, evidence-based care and exceptional nutrition services to patients, families, and the broader community. This position is a per diem (temporary) role working evening shifts from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with variable days off. The worker will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to medically prescribed diets, ensuring nutritional compliance that supports patient recovery and health. Given the medically vulnerable population served, attention to food allergens, cross-contamination, and strict adherence to dietary restrictions is paramount.
