The position involves preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals in compliance with strict quality, service, infection control, and food safety protocols. The individual will also support the operational needs of patient floor kitchens by delivering stock supplies and replenishing used foods and utensils. Additional responsibilities encompass working in the dish room and handling financial transactions related to guest tray payments and cafeteria food sales as a cashier. The job requires versatility, including setting up and serving meals for corporate retail, catering services, and designated dining outlets such as the Doctors Dining Room. The incumbent may also be tasked with decorating buffet and reception tables as needed, further supporting the hospitality aspects of the healthcare environment.
