This position involves preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals in strict accordance with established quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards. The role also includes delivering stock supplies to patient floor kitchens, serving guests with positive customer relations, replenishing used foods and supplies, and completing sanitation duties. Additionally, responsibilities extend to performing dish room duties, managing payments for guest trays, and handling food sales transactions in the cafeteria as a cashier in alignment with institutional policies. This role supports various dining outlets such as corporate retail, catering, and the Doctors Dining Room by setting up and serving meals and decorating buffet and reception tables as assigned. The position requires a commitment to both food preparation and service, or supporting coworkers who perform these functions, ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction of customers.
