The role offered is a crucial position supporting patient care through meal preparation and delivery. As a member of the food service team, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals in line with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards. The position involves delivering stock supplies to patient floor kitchens, serving guests while maintaining a positive customer and guest relationship, replenishing foods and supplies appropriately, and completing sanitation duties. Additional tasks include performing dish room duties daily, collecting payments for guest trays, handling food sales transactions in the cafeteria as a cashier, setting up and serving meals for corporate retail, catering, and various dining outlets including the Doctors Dining Room, and decorating buffet and reception tables as assigned. This role is integral to ensuring safety, comfort, and satisfaction for customers and supporting the seamless delivery of high-quality food preparation and service. The position’s estimated pay range is $16.00 to $18.38 per hour, depending on experience.
