The Food Service Team Member position at Yellowstone General Stores offers a unique seasonal opportunity whereby team members engage guests with a positive attitude, provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products and services, and efficiently and accurately handle transactions using POS systems. Working in the park’s stores such as those at Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village, employees not only gain valuable experience in customer service and food handling but also enjoy the benefits of working in a picturesque natural environment. The role entails assisting with daily operational procedures, including setup, cleaning, and organizing inventory, as well as fulfilling guest orders like scooping ice cream and preparing menu items. This position pays $17.75 per hour and includes weekly pay with flexible scheduling options spanning 32-40 hours per week. - ability to stand for the entire length of shift
- ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
- ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, split shifts, holidays, and weekends

Job Duties
- Welcome guests and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding available products and services
- assist with daily operational procedures including setup, opening, and closing duties
- organize inventory and promptly report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- take and fulfill guest orders promptly and accurately, including scooping ice cream and preparing menu items
- maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
- accurately record all transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system including handling credit cards and providing correct change to guests as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
